replaceing the pto seal on my cub

Postby rohrski » Wed Jan 09, 2013 11:33 am

I am trying to replace the pto seal on my 49 cub, Gary mentioned I could possibly drill holes in the seal insert metal screws and pry out, that isn't working, any other ideas without taking the flange off?

Do you have access to a slide hammer? Check with an auto parts store. Sometimes they have loaner tools.

Make sure everything is clean, smooth and well lubed when you tap the new one back in. Take your time. Little taps. :D
