Lift Helper Spring - How To?

Postby hannahscub » Wed Jan 09, 2013 5:29 pm

Bought a used lift helper spring kit for my 100 narrow frame to help with lifting the snow blade. Looks like all parts are there per a later model parts manual that I have BUT not sure how to install. Can anyone provide the install/set up instructions for this? I know it looks fairly simple but I want to get it right. Thanks in advance.

I have the install instructions on my computer at work, I will get you a copy tomorrow. :big afro:

It is a pretty simple procedure, I put one on my 100 & 122 recently.

Hope you got your implement handle helper spring figured out! This spring assist is not recommended to be used with the hydraulic unit part # 395-009 r2 , which makes sense! I have the Brinly unit which is a better unit than the one specific to the IH Cub Cadet. :)
