Non Typical Buck

My daughter got a text from her best friend the other day that included this picture. She said that this buck was found on the family farm, actually, a few feet off of their farm on state land. I know the family and have no reason to doubt them butt......

Can't be state land. Those are usually bald headed!
Probably more likely a preserve!

I think I'd need a pants cleanout if I saw that thing in the woods!

At least no one is claiming to have bagged it and claim a spot on Boone and Crocket or one of the other rating Org.s.

It will be a great mount, and should go in a Cabela's store, where thousands of folks can see it.

I apologize guys, the buck is a hoax. I had my doubts, but knowing the family that owns the farm where the deer was supposed to have been found, and knowing the family of the girl that sent my daughter the text, I found it hard to believe that it wasn't real. However, non typical deer are not common around my home and deer with this much antler are not common here either. The blood on the floor in the picture also bothered me. A deer found dead wouldn't be bleeding.

I posted the picture on another (bowhunting) website and a member remembered seeing that picture before. See post below:
