Found a Blade....Need to know ...I found a blade for my cub and am going to pick it up on Friday. What I would like to know is what type of blade it is and I need to make sure I get all the brackets. Could some one tell me what model blade this is in the picture below? and if there is and documentation or images with it installed so that I make sure that I get all the hardware I need to mount it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...With the cultivators thrown in the mix it is hard to tell if all of the grader is there.
Here is a link from TM Tractor parts showing one style. You may want to look at some of their other pages also. http://www.tm-tractor.com/gim/blade54apallet_001.htm I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

http://www.cubguy47.com/photoarchiveCub_54_blade.html http://www.cubguy47.com/photoarchiveCub_54A_blade.html I have been collecting, buying, and selling Farmall Cub tractors, implements, and parts for nearly 11 years.
Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...Most of the parts in the pic are cultivator parts. Blade does not appear to be complete. More pics would help with the parts separated.

Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...The price for the blade is $200....does that seem reasonable to you guys? From the pic it looks to be in good shape...but it only seems to have the hardware for a mid mount setup...I guess I could find the hardware for a front mount later....

Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...
In my opinion, yes, if you can at least mid mount it, that is reasonable. I have been collecting, buying, and selling Farmall Cub tractors, implements, and parts for nearly 11 years.
Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...From what I see in the photo, there is not enough of it there to properly mid mount it.

Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...
It appears to have a substitute drawbar, he may luck out Bill. CPIII - I wouldn't commit to buying it until looking at it in person. I have been collecting, buying, and selling Farmall Cub tractors, implements, and parts for nearly 11 years.
Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...Which part(s) is(are) missing? I see the spring that connect to the Touch Control arm and the the spreader bar in the rear to go between the finals......what am I missing?

Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...
Charles, that isn't the lift spring arm, that is the tension spring on the underside of the blade. You can barely see it through all of the brackets here: http://www.cubguy47.com/images/DSC00008_5_.JPG I have been collecting, buying, and selling Farmall Cub tractors, implements, and parts for nearly 11 years.

Ah......I see...he said it was "all there" but will confirm later today before I make the trip as it is about 1.5 hour away. Charles Patek III

Re: Found a Blade....Need to know ...Just having the substitue bar isn't enough to mid mount. It would help if we could see a pic of everything that is with it. It is upside down in the first pic so it is hard to tell how much of the front mounting hardware is there.
