Re: Farmall Model?Looks like a Regular to me with F&H rims on rubber tires.
Googled Farmall Regular and here are a few pics Images for Farmall Regular Confusion breeds Discussion which breeds Knowledge which breeds Confidence which breeds Friendship

Re: Farmall Model? My first thought also, Regular. Rims appear to be from another tractor. Without closer examination, rims appear to be identical to the ones on my WC Allis Chalmers.
Asking price. My opinion, way to high. Complete F series have sold at local auctions for a lot less money, less money than unstyled John Deere parts tractors. I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Farmall Model?Cecil beat me to it, Regular had open steering gears, the picture appears to have an enclosed steering box, which I believe would make it an F20 "The Constitution is not an instrument for the government

Re: Farmall Model?I spent a lot of time looking at those gears from the back side. LOL

Re: Farmall Model? There is no steering box on the Regular. The steering box is at the front of the steering shaft.

Re: Farmall Model? Thanks for the help.
A biker friend goes to this place to get parts, nothing cheap at this place. I think I will pass for now.
Re: Farmall Model?Hi; The photo shows an F-30. There are two distinct characteristic details; 1.-The clutch housing is bolted to the frame with two (2) bolts vs. only 1 for the regular & F-20. 2.- The rear axle has an external retaining nut within the wheel hub vs. a flat bolt flange used for the F-20 and regular. The F-20 axle is retained on the opposite (inner) side of the drop housing. The engine also has a water pump and the regular and F-20 do not.
Have a good day! John K
F 12 magnetoI could use some input on the magneto for this thing that is a little older than me. I have no spark from the magneto coil, the little spring wound wire from the magneto to the rotary is distorted, the magnet seems weak [ not attracted to a screwdriver very much. ? Are there any points inside ? or does the spark comes as the geared gizmo rotates around the distributer cap? How can I determine if the magnet is strong enough, and/or can I recharge the magnet. Any help would be appreciated cottonpicker
Re: Farmall Model? Here is a good shot of a nice original Regular that I took at a show. Note the open steering gears:
![]() Here is a view of my '29 Regular from the same side as Landreo's picture. Notice how much more robust the F30 looks? ![]() ![]() 1929 Farmall Regular
