And amen on the wiring issue. It's easier to do than you think. Bigdog
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com

Re: Dumb & Dumber!I've done dumber things than that. One of my favorite tricks when I was just starting to wrench on my vehicles wast to forget to replace the drain plug before adding the new oil.

Re: Dumb & Dumber!Man does that sound familiar....If you're like me when it fired and ran like a champ, I just stood and looked at the tractor, for the longest time....then I added talk about a Dumb @##@.....Dave
Re: Dumb & Dumber!I do not think (not sure) I have done that, but I have poured coolant in radiator without drain plug, oil in engine with no drain plug, tried to split without removing flywheel inspection cover, started one without oil in touch control, and also without the pin in governor to throttle linkage. Had to rebuild TC pump after that one. There are probably more I have done, but my memory is bad. Also, my memory is bad.
