They leave grooves in the soil making hard walking, and cover up young plants really bad, and leave weeds behind!---other than that they great! LOL!---thats why I prefer the troy-built for cultivating with!---problem with them is that they are slow!
I use a JD 3-pt 1- row (video on You-Tube of it) on the 56 cub for large crops like spuds, so I can roll dirt up to the rows making ridges!---In your ground it may do a smooth job,--in my ground it dont, so go for it! LOL! thanks; sonny

It is all in having the right feet on the shanks and having the shanks adjusted correctly

Here is the back of mine on the 72.---I used the 3-point lower holes to pull the bars from and removed the 2 small 3 hole tabs, the round ends slide right into the holes.---chains will lift them,--since I didnt get any rods/springs with mine to put down pressure on the units..

The scratchers do great in doing a certain amount of back filling the ruts thanks; sonny

and for $50 you are about $50 ahead. The spring arms are getting hard to find and the lift bar goes for $35 to $45

The brackets/bearings are going for aBOUT $50 FOR THE RIGHT ONE AND $60 FOR THE LEFT. For some reason the left ones get broken.

Here in TN a good full rear section will bring $250-$350. Getting harder to find every day. not so much with the fronts

No. As Rudi mentioned they are on Appleton Craigslist. If you are close to there and if he still has them, I sure would get them if I were you. That's a deal on those

The depth control hooks to the drawbar right? If so, yes. I still cant get it to bite into the ground.
