Re: 3-2-13 UPDATE! 1950 Fcub 4H project resto picsI have been collecting, buying, and selling Farmall Cub tractors, implements, and parts for nearly 11 years.
Re: 3-2-13 UPDATE! 1950 Fcub 4H project resto picsThanks Brian, the kids, mainly daughter have worked very hard on this. As you know, I am handicapped so I can't do much. Almost everything has been done by them ( my wife to!) with my direction. With that being said, it's a miracle we got this far with me doing the guiding!!!!!! I want to thank everyone who has donated nd helped us here so far:Tim (Tst), Brian (cubguy47), dale shaw and mrs dale! Hopefully I did not leave anyone out! Thank for all the guidance thus far,you folks are great!!!!
Re: 3-2-13 UPDATE! 1950 Fcub 4H project resto picsReally inspriational project you and your daughter took on. Gives me a little extra effort to get my Cub that is in 500 pieces put back together! Great job and are there any loose ends that you need to acquire for it??

Re: 3-2-13 UPDATE! 1950 Fcub 4H project resto picsThanks everyone. My daughter and her buds are very proud of their work. You can see it in their faces and I am proud of them. We still need a muffler, muffle clamp, a good choke and starter rod, and a good throttle rod. Ours are bent up, welded, etc and look pretty bad probably a common issue n cubs. Considered making some but don't really know how I would make the bends where the finger pulls are. Also gonna need a step for it.
We are also in the market for a cheap fast hitch. Our next project is going to be the restoration f some cub implements that belonged to my uncle as well and would like to be able to hook them up. Also wanting to figure out a way to set up a ball hitch that you can lift up and down with the hydraulics so I can move trailers around without having. To get off the tractor to hook them up! Any ideas?
Re: 3-2-13 UPDATE! 1950 Fcub 4H project resto picsIF you get the fast hitch there is a ball adaptor for it, sometimes pricey, maybe not so easy to find, but they show up on ebay sometimes.

Re: 3-2-13 UPDATE! 1950 Fcub 4H project resto pics
Yeah...upwards of 90 bucks. Used to be before everyone got greedy you could get one for a honest $25. Last one I bought was $30 in Rehoboth Massachusetts at a swap meet at Francis Farm. AND the seller knew what he had! Here's a hitch mount...pretty worn out and they still want a hundred bucks plus shipping, sleazy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/OFFICIAL-IH-Far ... 337b92ca4c
Re: 4-2-13 UPDATE! 1950 Fcub 4H project resto picsA couple of more pics for you all. We still need to finish the hood but don't think we will make it by this weekend for the Canton cubfest. We are planning on coming either way, with or without a hood. Looking forward to it.!
