New to me 54A blade

Postby Tezell » Sat Feb 23, 2013 4:21 pm

I got my blade on yesterday.

It looks like it came on the tractor. It is a perfect match. I cannot figure out which one is the most rusted. :D

It works very very good though. It will come in handy for the driveway. With all the rain I am going to need it!!

The blade and tractor look good together. I like the original working look too, even though I am painting one up, I am trying to stay away from that pasty paint look.

I had to put the seat on it, the other one rusted out and almost dumped me in the pasture!

I have been undecided on painting it. Right now it looks like I am going to leave it like it is. :? :?

Tezell - It is amazing what a little time w/a drill & wire brush, a couple of cans of Wal-mart self etching primer, followed by a few cans of Valspar IH red w/do to dress it up! Can do it a section at a time too! Dusty B
