Rudi...I'm sorry that I am just coming to this thread after it has been on for so long...don't get to this part of the forum very often! I cannot believe that one family could go through so much tribulation at one time and still survive. I know that it is tough to know what the Lord's plan is, and many times you just feel like it is too much. Rest assured that He is there with you. Oh yeah...and the folks you know here are with you, too!

Prayers coming from Western PA for your whole family...

Re: Prayers Would Be a Big Help - Update

Folks:

Em and I sure could use your help again.

Amanda was admitted again to hospital last night at 2am. We found out a little while ago that her particular situation with MS is a very aggressive form and a fast moving one. The treatment, Prednizone and InterFeron Beta 1-Alpha is simply not working. They discovered another 8 lesions a few weeks ago in her brain. It isn't good.....

They are going to be doing another MRI on her brain and her spine in the next day or two. It will be a couple days before they can put her on the Tysabri .. and then it will be 5 days of infusion therapy when the drug is approved for the hospital to administer it. It is usually done outside of a hospital in an MS Clinic.

So, we certainly could use some prayers for Mandy, Abbi, Kris (taking care of Abbi) and the family as we deal with another round of this.

Thanks, we appreciate (+)
