Just walk in to your favorite auto parts store and tell the old guy behind the counter what you want.

Different auto parts store name, more than likely different part number for the same item.
I have an excuse. CRS.

I been upgrading the 10si alternators to a one wire altenator and raising the output at the same time. There are kits available on the net for the 10si altenators for upgrading them from 60amps all the way up to 105amps along with the one wire parts/directions too.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

When using the Napa # 213 401 1SW one wire alternator it kicks in at a lower RPM. :-:-):

Bill, why would you want 105 amps? 60 is probably twice the output of a cub generator. Ed

David,

The Napa one has worked well for me. I have purchased 6 of them total. 3 that I own and 3 for someone else. I have had zero problems.

Are you putting it on the one you were working on at DSCF?
You will need one of Clint's brackets.

The NAPA alt 213 401 1SW works as it should, I can not verify the other brands. There coil works great too.

Oh don't sell yourself short. If you're skilled enough to hang the alternator on the tractor you're certainly skilled enough to wire in the diode.
