tough little machine

Postby Mike in Louisiana » Fri Apr 26, 2013 9:24 am

My neighbor is in the hospital and the 3 acre yard was getting out of hand so i went over to cut the grass. About 10 minuets into the job cub started running a little rough. I thought it was trash in the carb. I was about a mile from the house so i just contained to cut. After I was all done sitting there a fried stopped to talk. He was looking at the right side of the motor and said that thing runs pretty good on 3 cylinders. I got real close to some bushes and #3 plug wire pulled out of the distributor cap.

Who needs 4 cyl. when you can do it with 3. :) That happened to me plowing before I replaced my old plug wires. One fell off by itself.

this happened to me on my H, pulling a harrow in the garden and it all of a sudden started missing and we couldnt tell why, a few weeks latter was changing the oil in the H and found one of the spark plug wires had gotten pulled off the plug, put it back on and it ran great!
