Yeah, me too, Dusty. Maybe we use too much paint! Must have something to do with the HVLP sprayer.

I will say there is A LOT less over spray with the HVLP...but I did have cardboard covering the floor when I sprayed....and yes they turned IH Red...Pulled up the cardboard for the pics...and so i wasn't walking on them and spreading IH Red over the rest of the shop...Tom

ReTractor wrote:Yes that is beautiful work. Nice looking shop too. If you don't mind what brand of sprayer do you have and what is the air requirement? Thanks.

I spent a few more $$$ on a professional sprayer..I figure after ALL THE PREP work...why ruin it with a bad spray job...
AOM Asturo ( Italian made ), WB series with 1.4, and 1.8 tips..Manual says 6CFM @29PSI...I have a 60G, twin cylinder compressor that ran frequently during my spray...
I LOVE this sprayer...Works like a charm..easy to operate and clean...Tom...

Love it, great job. Makes me look forward to the day I can get mine shined up like this.

I got pretty frustrated with cheap paint guns that wouldn't perform well, when it mattered most. A couple years ago, I bought a Devilbus Finishline HVLP gun with 1.3, 1.5 and 1.8 nozzles. What a difference! I really like this gun!
