Spring Plowing at our Farm

Postby PVF1799 » Mon May 06, 2013 10:11 am

Just a short video of us plowing at the farm this weekend. This is a 4 bottom Allis-Chalmers plow that we modified down to 3 bottoms to work with the JD 5320.

Hope you enjoy the video.

Nice job Ken, just think how much fun you will have next year when that field is plowed by your Cub.

We've got 125+ acres to plow. I see a Cub Plow Days at Pleasant View Farm - wonder would anybody show up for plowing and roast pig? ....In our future is also a 150hp JD 4630......
Want a big IH, but the cabs have really poor visibility in the late 1970's.

I have just what you need to plow 125+ acres!---two AC 440 four wheel drive tractors! each one will pull an 8 bottom plow,--not real fast, but do cover the acres fast! thanks; sonny

Sonny, thanks for posting. I had to look at the AC 440 pix on tractor house. That's quite a machine.

For anyone interested - here is a link to AC history. Scroll down to the AC 440 at 550 HP. :D
