Delco generators

Postby Gerry Powell » Mon May 13, 2013 9:32 am

I've been looking on the web for Delco service bulletins on testing their generators and regulators that are used on the Farmall tractors and have found several. Very good at detailing how to test with detailed procedures and diagrams but all refer to IR-180 and IR-185 for specifications. For instance, the test for the cutout pickup voltage is detailed but the voltage has to be found from the above bulletins. These I can't find anywhere on the web, does anyone have these?

I believe that most all of the information that you are looking for is listed in the Blue Ribbon Service Manual GSS-1012, Electrical Equipment. And if not there then the GSS-1052 Blue Ribbon Manual, Testing and Servicing Electrical Equipment.
Where you are, right now, is of absolutly no use unless you are able to get away from it, FAST!

Thanks to all, this is what I'm looking for.
Rudi, your website is priceless, you should be very proud of the service you provide to the Farmall community.
