Hello,

I recently bought a drawbar from a gentleman and he said it would fit a Cub. Well it dose not fit my Cub. :( The measurements from center bolt hole to center bolt hole is 5 inches, what does it fit?

Thanks,

most likely off a SA-140.

A cub hanger is square, the other is odd angled.

James, welcome to the forum. I'm sure we can figure out what you have but you're going to have to give us a little more information. A picture would be nice, or paint a picture with a word description. I know you're sitting there looking at your drawbar but all we know about it is it's five inches from center hole to center hole. :? It's kind of like me saying I've got a dog that's five inches between it's paws, what kind of dog do I have? Same way with your Cub. While it's most likely a regular Farmall or International Cub (most common) it could be a Lo Boy, or a numbered (like a 184, 154) Cub, it could have a fast hitch or be a high crop or people have called Cub Cadet lawn tractors Cubs, or something else............Not saying any of this is your case, just pointing out the possibilities with so little info. So at this point with out some mental telepathy or blind luck your success rate on getting the correct answer is pretty slim. You'll find everybody here is quite friendly and eager to help.

Yep, I'd say super A. Here's a pic from Rudi's site plus the A drawbar has 13 holes across the back.(wider)

The cub only has 11 holes.(narrower)

I'm afraid you may have fallen victim to a common issue we run into here, where many farmers believe that all small cultivision Farmall's are "cubs". around here, "cub" can mean Cub, or everything from an "A" to a "140".

Rick:

It ain't just down your way... same problem up here .. I have a want out on our local Kijiji trying to find a Cub I can afford for my loader and maybe the PHD. So far I have 3 offers from guys who own A's, 2 from a Super A owner and 1 lady who thought an H was a Cub ... :big give up:
