Hi, new owner in NJ

Postby Hoyt-Clagwell » Mon Jun 10, 2013 9:51 pm

Hi, my name is Dan and I found my cub on Craigslist last fall and I'm finally finding some time to work on it. I'm having a great time working on this thing. Complete tune up, changed all the fluids and greased every fitting I could find (even that one hidden up under the clutch access cover). Runs good now and hope to cut some grass with it and haul logs, debris etc.. With an eye toward total restoration at some point. I don't know why but I feel good having rescued an old tractor, kinda like bringing a mut home from the kennel.

This forum has been a great resource so far. Thanks for all the help.

Dan, welcome to the group. As you have already found out, this is the #1 place to get top notch Cub answers. Enjoy your Cub.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Hey, welcome to the forum. So....... did you find the oiling point for the fan hub and the generator yet? :D If not, browse in New Manuals above and look for a pdf of the owners manual. Have fun!

G'day to you and congrats :applause: on acquiring your very 1st new to you Cub :D These little critters are pretty darn addictive, so when you wake up in the middle of the night wondering where you can find the next member of the herd.
