Air Compressor Direct

Postby PVF1799 » Fri Jun 14, 2013 1:10 pm

Hi all, I wanted to share my feedback on this company. aircompressordirect.com.

I ordered this product http://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/Puma-PK6060V-Air-Compressor/p591.html and it arrived by common carrier with the pressure guage bent and the cover of the presssure switch cracked. The initial response from ACD was less than pleasant - whereby they noted because I did not note the waybill with damage, I needed to file a claim with the carrier.

After a pleasant yet firm response back from me regarding this proposal, I was advised that Puma would send direc to me a new gauge and new switch. These arrived today.

I'm very happy with the compressor and in the end the service department came through also.

Ken

Those compressors are like shops. They are never big enough. You gonna wish you had got a two-stage with a bigger tank and motor.

Mr. E - agree with you, but there is method to the madness. When the budget grows, this compressor will go the farm and I'll get a better one for my shop :D .

Like they say "Bigger is Always Better" TP Tools Sells one I'd like http://www.tptools.com/Champion-5HP-2-Stage-60-Gal-Air-Compressor,6246.html?b=d*8065 - 19.1 CFM @ 125psi.

Bill,
When we are using it for a shop it is just fine. But, ....... If it was bigger it would hold more toys.

OK, I understand. Got the same problem myself. That is why I'm selling off the stuff for which I don't have a direct use.
