C3 60 INCH MOWER STREAKING BLADES
CAN'T SEEM TO GET THE 3 BLADES THE SAME HEIGHT ABOVE THE GROUND. WANT 3 INCHES. VARY BETWEEN 1/4 TO 1/8 INCHES DIFFERENCE. THE GUIDE WHEELS ARE THE SAME, NEW BLADES NEVER BEEN USED, DECK ISN'T WARPED. THE RUNNERS ARE THE SAME ON BOTH SIDES. THE SPINDLES ARE TIGHT AND BEARING GOOD. ANY IDEAS WHAT'S WRONG?

Re: C3 60 INCH MOWER STREAKING BLADES
I have a danco C3, and find that 1/4 or 1/8 of an inch would be to close of a tolerance to consider....What I mow would be impossible to mow with that precision anyway....Ker Thunk....Anyhow someone will pop in and and maybe give you some pointers....Welcome to the forum....Dave

Is each blade cutting at a different height, or does it leave one streak every time you go around?
If each blade is cutting at a different height, the deck is most certainly warped or bent.
If it's leaving one streak per round, the deck isn't hanging level. The wheels and skids don't contact the ground if set properly, except on humps, and don't determine how level the deck rides.
It's pretty easy to measure on a flat surface.

Verify that your tire pressures are the same left to right. An uneven tire pressure can cause one side of the deck to hang lower.

Re: C3 60 INCH MOWER STREAKING BLADES
When you have the deck off do the blades align? I have found occasionally I need to put a spacer behind one or more of the blades. The deck could be torqued just enough (from hitting a fence post or something) to need blade alignment. It could also be that a spindle or a shaft had somehow shifted allowing it to be lower than the others, I think this is less likely.
If your deck is hanging on chains (most do, as opposed to riding on the gauge wheels) you should be able to adjust it perfectly between the chain links and the threaded hooks, especially on an F-Cub, as long as your new blades are aligned.
...and when hanging on the chains,
I don't think 1/8" difference would be noticeable unless the whole blade is cutting at a different height (blade alignment).
