Well this about sums up my spring??

Postby Jason (IL) » Mon Jun 24, 2013 4:54 pm

Working the other day moving boat trailers with my cub at one of my mowing jobs sites. I went and picked up a trailer with the fast hitch and got it going up and pop! I blew the head gasket out of the touch control box. Oil was shooting everywhere. So I have a complete rebuild kit ordered and hope to get it all fixed up next week. It just seem this mowing season I just can't win, something new happens every week. It had to happen on a day when I didn't have much time to spare.

Oh well, I guess I'll just keep at it and hopefully things turn around for the better shortly.

Yikes! That stinks. But, it seems everything happens for a reason. Good luck with your unwanted project.

Positive thing, you're learning more about your Cub. On the other hand it could be worse - you could have 100 acres of hay down and rain coming and have your Super M, breakdown. They only fail when you need them the worst.

Get'er fixed and move on :D

Well, with 9"+ of rain this week my mowing schedule is all out of order but it is ok, with those few dry hours I was able to get my new swim pool opened up. I mowed all day today and man was it a relief when I jumped in tonight. I am still waiting on my parts to arrive, I hope to get them tomorrow in the mail so I can fix it on sunday and get it ready for the local 4th parade.

I really want to get painting on my demo but I have been so busy with mowing yards and remodeling my house that it has been literally pushed to the back corner of the garage:(. Oh well, the house come first and them the piddling hobbies.

I hope to get to a few shows here next week, we have several mini 1 day displays in my area coming up shortly.
