It started last Saturday and is still going. The barnyard is starting to look like a jungle. We never got to plant a garden this year because the weather window did not cooperate with the days we were home. That's a good thing I guess, since it would have been a mess too. I don't know how it is in your neck of the woods, but you can have all the water you want from here.

Rain and Rain and Rain!!!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Rain and Rain and Rain!!!
April, May and June that is all it did was rain. No garden and no working in the garden area at all. It is now kinda overgrown. July so far has been totally different. Temps in the 90F range and humidex over 100F. Water table is high though so that should keep the fire index down.

Re: Rain and Rain and Rain!!!
Tell me about it! I read the other day where some guys in Ohio are gearing up for second cut hay. I can't even get all of my fields done for the first cut. Had to move cows away from barn in fear one......or more would end up stuck in the mud that surrounds all barn entries. Getting a cow UN stuck isn't a bit of fun, come to think of it it's no fun when I get stuck knee deep in it!
