Re: Battery cover Question
Yep, a fiberglass cover, and usually broken. My 154 had it's cover, needs a little repair but not bad. Not sure I'm gonna even use it as I have an automotive battery in mine.

Re: Battery cover Question
I have one and I have a cover for my Farmall Super C battery box too. However, terminals and everything else seem to corrode over quicker with the battery cover on. I assume the gases from a discharging battery do not dissipate as quickly with the battery cover on. Any ideas?

Re: Battery cover Question
Yup, clean the terminals real clean down to bright metal on the battery and the cables - then coat the terminals with di-electric grease - voila - corrosion -- nope not so much
