Sickle bar grass rod

Postby Redclip » Thu Jul 25, 2013 8:36 pm

I need to make an outer shoe grass rod; the one that is shaped like a big "U".
Anyone know the proper length?

Thanks

The total rod length used to make mine is 75-inches. --Lee

To add to what Lee said, each rod is 36" long, the two rods are spaced 3" apart. Seven inches from the "U" is a bend. If that part is flat on the floor, the two separate ends are up 12"from the floor (didn't have a protractor in the shop).
