Blasting Media Experience

Postby PVF1799 » Thu Aug 01, 2013 6:32 am

When I purchased my cabinet from Harbor Freight, I also purchased their Aluminum Oxide media. I used that media for hours and hours. It cut pretty well but it seemed slower than my experience using Cecil's cabinets. I changed out the media last evening to TP Tools "First Choice" Abrasive. http://www.tptools.com/First-Choice-Abrasive,357.html?b=d*8019

I am amazed at how much less dust is in my cabinet - the visibility has gone way up. This media is also VERY FAST. I'm amazed at how fast it eats rust. At least 3 times faster than the Aluminum oxide from Harbor Freight.

Wanted to Share.
