I've seen these in rubber from some suppliers and cork from others. I'm guessing cork would have been original.

What do you use? I can't see what TM has, has there website is offline till 9-September. Don't really want to wait that long to order.

The last one that I had bought from the local Case/IH dealer was made from Armstrong N-8092 (Armstrong Syntheseal non-asbestos gasket material), with a thickness of 0.032", you could read the Armstrong number on the gasket. I always make photocopies of any gasket that I buy then make a sheetmetal pattern from that. The text below was taken from some Armstrong literature about their different gasket materials:

Armstrong Syntheseal non-asbestos gasket materials are designed to be a direct substitute for asbestos containing materials. N-8092 is used in automotive, small engine, and compressor applications. It has excellent crush resistance at high flange pressures, and excellent sealing properties with oil, fuel, and water. It is intended for applications with short duration maximum temperatures up to 180oC (350oF).
Style N-8092 is a reinforced cellulose fiber and Fully Cured nitrile butadiene binder. The Armstrong Fully Cured system contains rubber binders which are vulcanized during formulation or in subsequent process for added initial strength and fluid resistance. Style N-8092 retains excellent crush resistance at high flange pressures. For sealing oil, fuels, and water. Style N-8092 is rated for temperatures below 350°F. Minimum tensile strength 1600 PSI.
Where you are, right now, is of absolutly no use unless you are able to get away from it, FAST!

Ken, if the parts store web site is temporarily down you could always give them a call. I know it's the "old fashion way", but, it still works! Just a thought. Have fun, Papa. :{_}:

Hi Papa - TM Tractor is down, because they've intentionally taken the site down for vacation till 9-September. Calling in this case won't help.

I like rubberized cork gasket material for that type of gasket.

Any auto parts store will have gasket material in rolls either cork or paper. Even tractor supply has it on the shelves.

Just trace the shape of the pan and the location of the holes and cut out using scissors knives or whatever.
