Has anyone pulled one with a Cub? Was looking at a Swisher for an ATV and just wondering how it might do behind a Cub.
All hat and no cattle.

Well, I can't see why not. It is self powered and it weighs a lot less than many of the implements we use. I think a Cub could handle that easily in 1st or second depending on the conditions. Wouldn't run it any faster though .. course that is JIMHO.

I would think either would work fine for you. You may be able to get a fast hitch and flail mower for the same $$. I really, really like the fast hitch Mott, works perfectly for trail cutting. The two advantages that come to mind are that it 'floats', even side to side and that the knives bounce off rocks/obstructions. Very nice to be able to lift/control the mower from the seat. Just a thought....

I pulled one with a LowBoy to cut the side bank of the dam for the 4 acre pond. As I let out more chain on each pass it would cut further down the hill. The bank was too steep to run sideways on.

This is an awfully late reply but I was using my Swisher Roughcut 44 Trail cutter this morning and thought I'd search it before I wrote a post to say how much I like it. I have used it with both my cubs--2nd gear is no problem if the ground is not too rough. It pulls great and chops sumac, briars, weeds, etc with no problem. I've had it for 4 years with no problems and routinely cut 10-12 acres 3 times a year. The Briggs & Stratton uses more gas than the cub so have a can handy but it's a good chance to take a break.
