McCormick Deering spreader 100 wheel color

I am looking for a "cream" color in a spray can that would be a good color match to the original, any ideas?

This is what we have in the Paint Chart:

Cream Implements Post 1941 IH #290D

if you can get a cross reference from NAPA or PPG/DITZ or Dupont please let us know.

Yuma Cream, model/year code 106, was used between 1953 and 1956 by International and Palomino Cream, model/year code 102 was used between 1950 and 1954. You might try an internet search for these colors and see if something comes up to fit your needs.

White -- Ace Hardware, Almond Gloss; spray can. It's an off-white, cream color. Don't know if you have an Ace Hardware store in Wooster, OH, but that's where I bought it.

Thanks Stanton, I just blasted and primed the wheels today, I will be off to ACE tonight.

Most of these off white, antique white, almond white etc, colors are approximations of the Harvester White used on wheels after late '56 or so. If you are trying to match 292 Implement Cream as used through '56, they are nowhere close to a match.

I looked at a 100 spreader for sale 2 years ago and the hubs were blue, and appeared to be original paint. I think that the wheel/hub paint scheme was reviewed in this forum and found to be blue for some and cream for others. Does anyone else have this information?

According to the IH Paint Committee Nov. 3, 1954:
Body and Frame - Red
Apron - Blue
Wheels - Cream
Hubs - blue

The 100 that I am restoring had cream wheels, red hubs,and blue adjustable collars.
