Farmall Cub Front Grill & Exhaust Questions

Postby FarmallVT4500 » Wed Oct 09, 2013 7:58 pm

The other night I was chatting with PVF1799 about Farmall Cubs in general and I had a couple questions for all you Farmall Masters.

1. What was the range of years that the front grill on the cubs were the wire mess style?

2. What was the range of years that the exhaust came up through the hood and had an exhaust stack?

I am not crazy about the exhaust running down along the side of the cubs and out the back. Does anyone know why they decided to change to this set up?

Thanks in advance for the input!

If you use a Cub for mowing, The stack gets in the way under low branches. The 189 plow cannot be installed with the underslung exhaust.
