I thought you said you couldn't go find a used running gear because you didn't have time........

Well this wagon is an excellent investment in your time and materials. It will pay dividends for years to come.

I was curious where you bought the stake pockets. A few months ago I was making a wagon and found that locally, Home Depot, Lowe's and Tractor Supply had stopped stocking stake pockets.

I didn't look any further, went home and made my own. But it's easier to buy them.

I got th at the local TSC. They were in the Agriculture section. Around 4 a piece. The hard part was notching the bottom 2.5 inches to fit in the pocket. A chisel and hand saw made it work though. Agri-supply had them too, but only had tapered ones left in stock. The posts wiggle a bit, but once I put the corner brackets up, the whole thing was much more stable. Hope that helps.

The worker at Home depot confirmed that they are not carried. The girl at TSC in Carver MA had no idea what I was talking about when I asked. But I just looked and they're listed on the TSC site.

Yeah , they had no idea what I was talking about either here at the local TSC. Luckily I had printed the page with the sku number in it and showed them. They were then able to locate it.

They should have gone online and found them for you at TSC. That's what they are trained to do
