rear rim

Where is a good place to buy a rear rim for my cub? I see them on ebay but don't know if they are good rims. My left rim keeps rusting with holes in it. I've patched and painted it every year but it is worse. I'm pretty sure it is loaded. Thanks, Bill

Bill, Before you buy a new rim AND if the tire is still good, I'd suggest draining it and demounting the tire. If the inside of the rim is that bad, you may need a new rim. However, you may be able to sandblast and patch the inside and save the cost of a new rim. If the tire is still useable, it will need to come off at some point anyway.

If it keeps rusting that means you've got a leak and it needs to come apart anyway...

I took Barnyard's advice. They were easy to deal with and I should be able to use the original bolts.

Agree 100%, and I'm lucky enough to only be an hours drive away. On the other hand I think your mailman is going to be quite difficult to deal with for a few days after lugging your new rim up the front walk :lol:
