Buy mine at O'Reilly Auto Parts; Wix #51153. Never asked for a case of 'em, but imagine they'd have them there quick.

Usually get mine from the local family owned parts house. They carry Wix with gasket. Don't remember cost, thinking just over $5.00. Hengy, yes I take off the winged cap and clean the filter housing.

I send Dad after mine. He lives 3 miles from a CaseIH dealer and he's over there about once a week anyway. They have them right on the shelf.

Our NAPA store in Lebanon, which is locally owned, sells all of their filters at one half price every 1st and 3rd Friday.

There is a huge markup at NAPA for the walk in customer (~$9) This place has good selection and prices and I stock up with air/fuel and oil filters when I order to get the discount ($125).

did you by chance get an extra 0 in that number? Never heard of any vehicle running 3 million miles.

Just called my friendly NAPA because curiosity got the best of me. 1153 Gold oil filter $9.09 or $4.18 on sale. So, the sale price is not bad and best of all, I get great service. Yes, I admit to plying them with home baked cookies upon occasion and sometimes (in season) a home made strawberry shortcake. Any cost associated with the treats has been recovered many times over.

the NAPA sales are NOT at the same time. It is up to the store owner to decide when or if he wants to participate. Our local NAPA is owned by a small chain of stores and have their sales at different times.

I just ordered oil filters from EverythingTruckParts.com. The Wix (with gasket) was 4.22 but shipping and tax drove it up to 5.92. Napa wanted 9.99 for the same filter. My Napa does not give discounts for case purchases nor do they have the big sales on filters that I have seen other posters talk about. This is the best deal I have found. If anyone can beat this, please let me know. Changing oil in a herd of Cubs can get expensive.
