Nice project, but I tired a similar tractor seat on one of my cubs, and after I used it a while I did not like it.

Thanks yaw Well it sat really nice but was a pain getting off of! thanks to the arm rest on the right! lol so i stuck the ole pan seat back on rides a ton better!
The ole Ford is my Granddads 1966 Ford F-100 Custom-Cab Longbed 352 3 speed on the Tree with 157,000 Real miles on her!
Photo from a few weeks ago after i washed her down an waxed her a little. the Rims have been on since 1978 when mu dad bought them also True Dual Exhaust with Big Daddy Mufflers.

Seriously, hope your "new" seat is firmly attached to the post and is safe. With a high back and arm rests, you may be putting additional rear and side loads on the post/plate that were not designed for it. Probably will be fine, but I wouldn't fall asleep in it.
