Registering

Postby Ian D » Mon Jan 06, 2014 6:20 pm

Hi, I registered the other day after buying a french cub. I live in Scotland, UK. I was unable to enter these details as we don't have zip codes. If you can amend my details so my location is visible it would be appreciated Great website and forum, no doubt I will be asking the many cub owners of the world numerous questions before I get my cub restored. Many thanks Ian Donald

Ian, welcome to the best Cub site you will ever find. I’m sure you will enjoy your Cub and the info found here will help you keep it going.

We can not access your profile settings to make changes, however, setting up your profile is pretty simple. Look in the upper left corner of this page and you will see a link that says “User Control Panel”. Click on that and you will then see a tab that says “Profile”, click on that. Then on the left you will see another link that says “Edit profile”. Around the middle of that page you will see a line that says “location”. Just fill in that box with your info and click “submit” at the bottom. Your done.

I am guessing that the member map does not show their location without a zip code?

Right, the zip code is needed to show where they are on the map.

IanD,
Welcome to the forum. There is nothing about cubs that these guys do not know and are willing to share that knowledge :{_}: :{_}: . So you have landed on your feet.  Would appreciate pics of your cub. Let me warn you CUBS are a red but very common affliction, and are inclined to multiply if you are not careful   Yes Dale, hopefully if things work out I will be visiting a cubfest in Albany 10th - 11th October 2014. Where I am looking forward to meeting 1 or 2 of the great guys that contribute to the forum. IanD, enjoy your cub and you will get all the assistance you need here.
Bernard,
Donegal Cub.

Coincidently, my older brother just finished putting his genealogical info of our family into a booklet which traces our family back to east Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Virginia, then northern Ireland and ultimately Scotland.

So, from a transplanted Scot, a BIG Midwest welcome!!

[Edited per my elders.]

Oh, I don't know, Don, and I will certainly defer to IanD, but my understanding it that Scots drink "whiskey."

So whereabouts in Scotland, IanD? My son just finished university there, and I was lucky to visit him a few times.

Since Scotch is a whisky made in Scotland.
