Prime the oil pump, thanks to Barnyard (pic)

I just got a call from a friend yesterday that had his cub engine overhauled last year and is finally getting it all put together in his barn.
"Better prime that oil pump" I told him. "Barnyard told me how to do it". He took off the oil filter cover while I was on the phone.
" You mean the hole where the bolt goes in?" "NO!" I responded. I had the wrong idea until Barnyard set me straight last week:

....Not quite, when you take the lid of you will see a hole at the top. Shoot oil into it until it comes out. Then put the lid on and start the tractor. Watch the pressure to make sure it comes up.

Glad it worked for you, there is another way to prime the engine on the left side, but since you had already removed the filter top at that time I figured this was the easiest way for you.
