I Blame Ricky Racer For This !!

Postby Marion(57 Loboy) » Sun Feb 16, 2014 10:27 am

Ricky jinxed us all with his premature "I think we are over the winter hump" post.
It's snowing heavy giant snowflakes here in Massillon right now.
Thanks a lot Ricky ! :{_}:

I'm 45 miles east of Rick and have 29 degrees and bright sunshine. Snow is in the forecast however. But only about 3 inches. Piece of cake. Vern

Snowing hard here in Michigan with 3-5" predicted. At least it's light and fluffy.

Going to go out today and shovel a sled run for my daughter. Only problem is it's about 3' deep at the moment. Maybe I'll make a bobsled run!

Edit: I didn't realize how close other cub owners were to me!

Snowing pretty hard in Pittsburgh. Big fluffy flakes. It seems like it snows every day anymore!

Big flake, little snow.
Small flake, big snow.

Ricky was advising, and I'd say you confirmed using the old adage written above.

Image Go easy on me. Image

I woke up this morning and turned on the TV to listen to the weatherman say that we were looking at more snow, tonight and Monday, maybe 3-8 inches total with a warm up later in the week that includes rain on Thursday. Rain and warm temps can cause a real problem with the frost in the ground, there will be no where for the water to go. Things could get real ugly. Image

About 50 minutes. I'm less than a mile off I-94 at exit 85.
Rick is closer to the lake (Lake MI) than we are and as such tends to get more snow. Maybe we can cut him some slack for getting tired of this colder than usual winter. Then we will string him up.

Go to the top of the page and click on Member Map. There will be a red 786 east of Chicago. Click There will be a yellow 82 SW of GR. Click A member icon will appear between Kalamazoo and Battle creek. That be me. Above that there is a blue 5. Click Use arrows to move left and up until Byron Center comes into view. Should be a blue 3. Click Looks like three members all in a pile to me. The Icon locations are not exact.

If you look at the member map zoomed in to show all members as an icon there are 40 or so within an hour of either one of us. The member list is not to my knowledge ever purged or a status changed to member but inactive. I clicked one icon that was close to me and that member died a couple years ago. A PM sent to that address would be opened by his widow or even one of his kids. We can think about it more after winter has peaked.
