Buckeye Spring Minifest

Postby Barnyard » Sun Mar 09, 2014 1:27 pm

We have been kicking around the idea of a spring get together some weekday in April. So far the idea is to hit the Rural King in Xenia and then head 20 minutes up the road to Young's Jersey Dairy for lunch.

Any of you guys interested let us know and we can home in on a date.

Note to Jeff: this is no farther than Jungle Jim's from your place. A little farther for Larry.

Sounds like a good deal, Bill. Candy has another hip replacement in March and will be itching to get out and go somewhere by April. :{_}:

Jeff, sorry you can't make it. We are hoping to get a group shot standing by their Farmall hostess station.

Just let us know the plan, Bill! I looked up the location of that Rural King, yesterday, since I didn't know there was one in Xenia. It's in an area of town I've never been in, of course I didn't know it was there. April should be a good time to do this.

I'm in, cardiac rehab is over next week. I'll run it by Cindy when she gets back from the grocery.

Boy, just did the MapQuest thing and it is just too far (almost 4 hours), even thou there will be great company there. The more practical side of me says that I need to pass on this one. :( :(

Well, I have been looking over the calendar and I am pretty much open other than a few Wednesdays. March 10th and 16th are also bad. How does Tuesday, April 15 sound to everybody. Comments welcome and we can work it around others schedules.

Sounds good to us. Candy says she will be itching to get out by then. Bill Hudson should forget practical and come on down. He's behind on miles this year since he missed DSCF.

There's nothing written on the calendar, so that's ok with us. Tax day is easy to remember, too. Just tell us what time to be there! Come on Bill H., I agree with Denny!

Kicking around a meeting time for our get together. Does anybody have a preference? I doubt this will be a two hour jungle expedition like it was at "Jims". We could meet at Rural King at 10:00 AM and then head straight to lunch from there. That will put us at Young's Dairy around 11:30 or so.

Any other thoughts?
