Stuff to work on at Hog Waller or projects

Postby Boss Hog » Fri Mar 28, 2014 7:38 pm

We have a few things set up
Dale Finch's cub follow up on the rebuild, Brian's Trany and his pop's finial , Bud's 74 cub to get a few bugs out and repair brakes. A trany to swap for Clint's buddy in NC I guess we will put a sickle mower together for the TV star  And we will impose on Yogie to take a tire or 2 off the rims for Rob.

I will be bringing my '55, and since things have been moving slower than I had hoped, I may get the chance to have the "Conversion Expert" (aka Boss) make sure I do the 6v to 12 v conversion correctly! I've rebuilt SO many things (both finals, transmission, engine, distributor, governor...) it will be a miracle if it works!! So I hope there will be some miracle workers present!

Looking forward to a good time this year. Dale, can't wait to see the 55 you have, we'll check it all out and make sure things are okay. Do you have the brackets and all that's needed for the 12 volt change over ?

Yes, I bought the bracket set from Clint a while back, and picked up from NAPA a 12v coil and alternator. Hopefully that should do it.

Finishing up some painting tomorrow...hood, grill, a bunch of little things, and most important the steering gear housing, so I can get the front end back together! Getting close, though!

It'll be good to see everyone again.

Event is a month earlier this year than last year Val so you better bring both. It was 70 here one day this week and pouring snow all day the next.

Boss and Ed were ready for anything that came their way last year....No wonder Ed stayed in so much trouble all weekend. :-:-):
