It's getting closer, looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting some new folks too.
Mike has been busy making up a bunch of things for door prizes etc. and he makes nice things, so it's worth the trip, plus he cooks good food.

12481 N. 3990 RD Dewey, OK 74029. From the north, 11 miles S of Kansas border on 75 hwy. Turn east at 1200 Rd.(Smoke Shop) go to 3990 rd turn south go 1/2 mile. From the south, on hwy 75 north of Dewey to 1300 Rd.(cemetery)turn east, go 2 miles, turn north on 3990 Rd, go north 1/2 mile. There will be white signs with CUB FEST on them on Hwy 75 and in front of Mike's.

National Weather Service is calling for Sunny and 83F Friday and only 40% of T-storms on Saturday and 79F. Sounds like good odds to me.

Art, this year I am bringing my wife Melba Jo.
Gary's wife Ada, broke her ankle last night and he will not be able to attend.
Also bringing a new pair of front tires and tubes to sell for 85.00 if anyone is interested. The are from my son-in-laws shop. Trying to get him to come up Saturday. Be dropping by late Thursday afternoon if all goes well. Looking forward to it.

I'm bringing Robyn on this trip. She's a quilter and has some quilt work to do (mostly at the motel), but should be around enough for ya'll to meet her and share in the meal Friday night and Saturday noon.

We'll bring a crock pot of BBQ baked beans to go along with the burgers/chips Mike mentioned earlier. Will also load the Cub-22 mower and bring some stuff to start working on it.

Should arrive early afternoon on Friday. Looking forward to it! Thanks ahead of time to Johnny, Arthur and Mike for hosting this fine Cubfest!

Stanton,I'm bringing my Wife Sandy on Friday she is a quilter also. She has been known to work on Cub Farmalls Owns a 51 Ford Pickup to being restored,see you there.

Sorry guys not going to make it. Had many issues with Cub this morning. Will not start and also needs new front tire. I really wanted to get there and get some advice on the old tractor. Maybe next time.

Thank You, Mike, Art and Johnny for yet another fun filled CubFest. Demonstration on boring the cylinder in a cub block was most informative. Everyone had a great time, and I look forward to next year. A few pictures can be viewed at:

Thank you Johnny and Karen for the welcome at your place, and thank you Karen for passing on the grand prize of the cub carry all. I was very surprised.

Randall, thanks for the pix. They sure make a guy feel like he was there. Rosie and I had this fest one penciled in on our calendar but my daughter and her husband's family had planned their family vacation for this weekend so we are tied down with two of their dogs for the next two weekends. I couldn't say no since she moves into our place whenever we go away. Maybe next year the dates will work out.

i sure do hate i had to miss it. but duty calls (work). after almost 41 years on the job and still working over time. lol but if all works out i plan on retiring in about 16 months and then i'm going to make a bunch of them. if my money holds out. lol
