Never tried it. Wheel spin with the turning plow will be excessive. The turning plow is an assumption based on this season of the year.

Been plowing two seasons with one turf and one ag. Turf is in furrow. Some spin on ag. No weights or ballast. Btw, I have sandy soil. Belly mount disc plow, curve of the furrow fits tire I guess. Could not do it in hard red soil.

No experience here with Cub disc plow, but I do have one for another tractor. My limited experience says that disc plows pull easier than do moldboard plows. And parts of NC have the hardest red soil I have ever seen anywhere. Some of it is so poor that rabbits passing through carry packed lunches with them.
The disc plow does not cut as deeply as does the typical moldboard plow. But the results with the disc plow is a very rough surface which typically requires some work with a disc harrow to prepare for planting. Typically my first use of the disc harrow is at quite slow speeds due to the rough surface.

We have some red soil here but mostly sandy. Some pit gravel deposits also. When you wear a disc down to about 20 inches its easier to plow deeper. I can plow about 10" in the sandy garden. Loose soil plows smoother than hard or soil with vegetation on it. I have pix and video but can't post from phone.

With turfs you will probably need chains.

Easiest way is to keep a spare set of rims, centers and wheel weights mounted up with ag tires. Then you can simply swap them out in less than 15 mins.

Plowing in hard compacted soil requires good traction. Turf tires cannot provide. If the soil is loose enough to not need ag tires, the soil doesn't need plowed anyway. A good discing to loosen up the seed bed would suffice.
