Oil Pump Primer Access

If you look close between the two touch control tubes you will see that the oil pump primer set screw access is positioned directly behind the bottom tube. It may not look like it but believe me it is directly behind it preventing allen wrench use.
Anyone else confronted this issue?

I need to flush the system anyway so I will use the filter access if priming is necessay.

Dell,

What you show is normal.

Dell, I have put a large screwdriver between the lines and carefully turned it side ways. That will separate the two lines just enough to get to the plug without damaging the lines.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Got it flushed and filled and buttoned up but no oil pressure.
Didn't feel like pulling the filter cap so tried the primer plug and it worked.
Gently pryed down on the bottom tube enough to get the plug out.
Had oil pressure to the middle of the gauge after priming.

Thanks for the information.

You can use the hole inside the oil filter housing.... by far the easiest!
