Anyone have a source for J4 magneto parts? I need the plate that has the pawls and springs for the impulse.

I would check with John Brillman , phone 540 477 4112 he stocks quite a large selection of mag parts I recently bought a coil from him. He is a very nice person to deal with and prices are competive .
