I brought home another 8n last night. This one is in roguh shape but runs. I think I will take it totally apart and rebuild it while I wait for another Cub!

Cool! I spent a lot of hours on one of them. Nice little tractors.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Honestly, there wasn't much that needed to be done to the last one. It was pretty nice. It needed a tune-up and some bolts tightened to quiet the vibrations. It is sold now. This other one "molly" is a diamond in the rough, I can believe out of all my tractors the ugliest one has zero leaks and no dents on the sheet metal. I'll have some before and after photos some time this summer, after Rubee helps me paint it.

It might be surprising how many Cub lovers also have Fords. In addition to my 2 9N's and the 641 there's also this '47 8N that is serving at my son's place now. He liked the restoration.
