what is a model fc?

Postby JBall8019 » Thu Jun 01, 2006 7:35 am

hi guys,
last friday after work, i was on a quest to buy a starter switch for my m and i saw this farmall for sale. the size of this tractor is about in between a cub and an m. its my goal before i retire in 34 years to have all the letter series in my barn. so my question is what is the model fc? i thought the letter series was a,b,c,h&m.
thanks
john

got a nice one just up the road from me with a for sale sign on it. Good looking belly mower under it too. I can check on it for you if you'd like.

Matt, the super c's were FC-

they are a real handy tractor... we have 3 of them, and i use mine almost every day... they can pull a bit, and i seem to be able to find implements that it will pull quite easy up here..

good luck

Johnny

bigdog,
i may get into trouble with my honey if i bring another tractor home at this moment. :( however she is going to buy me tickets for the red power in mansfield. i wonder how many memebers will be heading out there.
jostev,

jball, i use mine for sickle cutting, it works great tho, just a little light in the front, a set of wheel weights would do the trick i would say... i might make my axle mount into a fast hitch this summer....

good luck!!!

Johnny

johnny - what brand of sickle cutter do you have? there are plenty of three point models that go for auction really cheap out here.
