Do you have any problems with the sawdust taking nitrogen up from the soil and away from the plants?

I add some high nitrogen fertilizer when I work the ground. I've mulched my gardens for years, the sawdust is free from area Amish sawmills. I'll bring in this year what i'll use next year & store it in open bins:

Tried to narrow up the front axle of the Cub, but it's rusted solid! I have it soaking with PB Blaster, we'll see. I expect it will take some heat to loosen it, not ready to do that yet!

Got the transmission oil changed in the Cub this morning, topped off the axle housing oil & replaced the water in the steering sector with oil!

Make sure the little hole in the fill plug is clean and able to vent. It goes all the way through.

Thanks! I'll have to check it, mine's painted over (like everything else on this tractor).
