I was really looking forward to this, and then last Thursday my boss sends out an email asking us to work overtime. Looks like I will be doing that instead of what I want to be doing Saturday.

Re: 7th Annual Mid Missouri Show Me Cubfest
Sorry Ron. Actually, I'm sorry that I'm not going to make it this year. Received diagnosis late yesterday afternoon. Gallbladder only functioning at 15%, should be at least 35%. Waiting on appointment with surgeon and surgery date.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Sorry we won't get to meet and visit; was looking forward to it.
If I get around to removing the front blade from my '47, I may bring it. Has been experiencing some throttle/carb/governor issues that I need some expert advice on.

Jim I think there is a tool that is needed to remove or loosen something. I have just watched. Maybe Mike or Johnny may remember for sure.

Re: 7th Annual Mid Missouri Show Me Cubfest
There are more than one Touch Control blocks, and 2 different rebuild kits, depending on the part number. There are 2 different HOW TO's for them, as well.
Here is the one for the old-style:

...and here is the one for the newer style:

Good luck!

Re: 7th Annual Mid Missouri Show Me Cubfest
I have rebuilt one of the new style TC, I have a collection of tools that I used to do mine. I also have the how to printed off for the new and old style I will bring all. The old style requires a special tool to remove one of the valves they say you can make one from a 3/4 socket with a little grinding
