I bet the lights will work too since that fuse holder still looks to be intact and in good shape. Being around the 140's the fault point on the light circuit is usually either the fuse holder or the "hot" wire at the light switch (that terminal will rust and break off).

I didn't try the lights, some of the insulation is off the wires. I ordered a complete wiring harness from brillman that should be here in a few days. I want it to be right :D

Sounds good to me! Let me know how that harness turns out because I didn't realize they did factory harnesses for the later style tractors.

For this serial number range they are the only ones I can find and they are cheaper than any of the others. John Brillman is a stand up guy, used to see him at Denton every year and he makes some good stuff!!!

So I have heard for years! Never once heard a bad thing and have ordered random small electrical parts from there.

Been setting up cultivators on Norman and noticed these plates on the back of the feet. I’ve never seen them, we’ve always had big washers. I changed out a shovel and wire brushed one and sure enough, IH part number on it. Almost all these feet have one.

Repaired the piece for the fertilizer hopper. We’ll see if it holds.

Looking good! Yeah those little plates came on them from what I've found on original cultivator shanks........at least 1968 on up. I found them on an original 1968 and 1978 140 we had. Works better than washers, but washers work in a pinch.
