Cole and I hauled Arnold, a disc and the yard tool over and planted a strip of turnips a 100 yards long today. Got us on the camera.

Good luck this season! We still have venison in the freezer from last year's bucks. My son and wife each got one. They both dressed out just under 180!

God was looking over me today. Kids and I went over to take the blind down so the wind don’t carry it off in the hurricane. I knew there was a tree that needed cutting and there was also another. I cut the one at the pipe then went to the other one. The limb was over my head and it kicked the saw back when it fell, it hit my leg and only thing it cut was my pants. Man, it could have been bad.

Turnips look good.

Ever since a friend of mine snagged her chaps with her chainsaw, and I saw how they instantaneously stopped that chain, I make sure I ALWAYS wear mine. I know they are expensive and hot, but cheaper than the potential medical bills. Besides, I think they make me look gnarly!!!
These are like the ones I use. They come in lengths as well as sizes.

There are a few good demo videos, but I couldn't get them to post.

Anyway, glad all that happened were a few holes in the pants. Someone was definitely watching over you!

Florence put a hurting on the pipe in the creek. That’s a 48” pipe. This gauge is 6”, I emptied it Friday afternoon. We got over 8” I know of.

Archery season opened here in Michigan today.

My back said don't even think about it...
Built a ground platform for a blind and need to get it out . Kinda late for such froggin around.

Would prefer to hold off till meat will keep outside anyways.

Did get the 48 Cub out to the property and brush hog mowed a couple days ago. It did real well. Previous mowing needed a coil swap midway through.

Rye is getting browsed hard.
Doe and their fawns ,and a couple yearling bucks so far.
Sure nice to see fawns getting through the coyotes for a change.

Good huntin to ya!
