Hello from Southeast Missouri!!!

Postby Sturob08 » Wed Jun 13, 2018 7:58 pm

Hello, my name is Stuart. I recently acquired a family tractor that had setup for unknown number of years until my dad and grandpa acquired it after a family member passed. It’s a farmall 560 diesel with a F-19 loader attachment. I want to start restoring it so I figured this page would come in handy during the process. Thank you

Woo-wee!! You really ARE in SE MO!! That's about as far south as you can get and still be in the ol' Show Me state.

Well, welcome to the forum!

Now that you have more than 2 posts, you can access all the manuals on the server. Don't know how much they'd help with a 560, but you may find something you're interested in. They’re located under the "Quick Links" pull-down menu in the upper left of the screen. Go to "PDF Manuals", then scroll down and select whatever manual interests you. As a new owner of a Cub, we'd suggest downloading the Owner's Manual first and taking some time to read it. Many questions you may have will be answered there. Then, as far as working on your Cub, there are Service Manuals and other information that will be helpful.

We'd also encourage you to read:

Here's a good thread that is geared to a Farmall Cub, but is basic enough to apply to any new-to-you tractor your bring home: What to do with a Cub you just brought home

If you're so inclined, there's a tractor gathering in Fredericktown each year called the Cub-Arama. It's open to all models--as long as it's a Farmall/IH. Info here:
http://www.cub-a-rama.com/

Glad to have you here. Try to attach a picture of your 560, we'd like to see it.
