That’s a good one Bob. I may have to come out of retirement to pay the electric bill but I have the air conditioner set on 68 and liking it.

A/C had been on in the house for about 6 weeks.

Yesterday a cold front came through, low humidity, nice cool breeze from the north. Turned off the A/C, opened up the windows and transom above the front door. Got down to the upper 60s last night. Left the windows and transom open, locked up the house doors when we went to bed.
I have an excuse. CRS.

That sounds sweet, Eugene. Over in Virginia, it climbed into the 89-90's f. It is so humid that sweat is pouring into the eyes. I have to look at this two ways. I'm almost glad that we got rain but so much. Good grief, California areas burning up. Very sad. I can't take it all, even with this CARR fire. The Loss of the Firemen and First responders who had already lost their houses. Then they go into the Hot, decked with suits weighing LOTS of #s. Into the belly of the beast. Bless their Souls.

Cool spell ends today. Back to more normal temperatures for August, which is hot and humid.
