Hello, brand new to the site and IH's. I was given a 1944 farmall model A a few years ago for a flower bed decoration. It sat in the woods at my neighbors house for 20 years, then under my Apple tree for another3. He often joked with me about why I didn't use it, and I kept telling him one day my wife would drive it out of that flower bed. Well she did about a month ago. Engine was seized we pulled the head freed it up, went through the carb and I shot a video of my wife driving it out from under the Apple tree. Love that farmall, runs like a top. Glad to be a member...
Thanks in advance, John H.

Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:

Now that you have 2 posts, you can access all the free PDF downloads in the Manuals section; there are several manuals for the Farmall A in there as well. They are located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". Through that link, you'll be able to download an Owner's Manual (very strongly recommended) and any service manuals that interest you. You'll be able to familiarize yourself with your new-to-you tractor more quickly. Implement Manuals are also available.

Might also enjoy reading through this thread: What to do with a Cub you just brought home

Take some pictures of your tractor and post them. We’d like to see it.

Again, welcome and glad you joined us.
